Why can I not hear the sound when the timer goes off?
Modern browsers intentionally block sounds from websites that you haven't recently interacted with, or sites where you haven't explicitly permitted background audio autoplay. If your timer finishes and there is no sound, this is likely the cause.

What is the Pomodoro Technique?
It is a time management method that breaks your work into focused, uninterrupted 25-minute intervals (called "Pomodoros"), separated by short 5-minute breaks. This structure helps maintain high levels of focus while preventing mental fatigue. Tomatoi.st automates this cycle for you.
Do I need an account to use Tomatoi.st?
No account is necessary for basic use! We automatically generate a unique URL for you. Simply bookmark that URL to save your history. However, you can **claim your board** using your email address to prevent others from modifying your settings or viewing your private history.
Is my timer and history private?
Guest boards are un-indexed by search engines, but anyone with your unique URL can view them.
To make your board truly private, you can **claim it**. Once claimed, you can toggle the "Public Visibility" setting off in your Board Security menu, which restricts access exclusively to you.
What is a Magic Link?
Tomatoi.st uses **passwordless authentication**. Instead of a traditional password, we send a 6-digit code or a "Magic Link" to your email. This is more secure and means one less password for you to remember!
